Guidelines
Greetway always accepts artwork from children and publishes all received artwork as long as it fits the publishing guidelines below. Greetway may reject any copyrighted material.
Greetway conducts special events and competitions around the world to collect children's specialty artwork. Rules and event details for these events are listed on our site periodically as they happen throughout the year.
General Greetway Publishing Guidelines
Eligibility:
All children are eligible to submit their artwork to Greetway. The artwork must have been created when the child was 18 years old or under.
Submission Limitations:
Our emphasis is on quality over quantity. To maintain this standard, each child may submit a maximum of two pieces of art to Greetway per month.
Teachers:
Please feel free to share information about Greetway and opportunities to have artwork published with your students. You may collect students' submissions in bulk and send them to your local representative. To find your local representative send a request to us using contact us page with your location. We strive to evaluate and publish chosen works to our gallery within 24 hours of receipt. (Postage and packing costs will be reimbursed for submissions sent in bulk. Schools with a large number of submissions may even be eligible for free art supplies.)
Content:
Work with violent or frightening imagery or those that are otherwise inappropriate for young children will not be accepted. Also, as Greetway is committed to valuing diversity, no works that demean or portray any group negatively based on race, ethnicity or national origin will be accepted.
Previously Published Works:
Artwork that has been previously published is acceptable, provided that the artist and not the previous publisher retain the rights to the images.
Rewards & Fundraising:
Greetway provides gift certificates to its clients, which can be re-deemed by the school of their choice. Greetway also offers lucrative rewards for artists and their schools.
Drawing Guidelines:
Draw on any medium using pencils, crayons, watercolors or oil paints. Beauty and theme are more important than medium. We prefer the size to be 5 X 7 inches.
Submission:
Artists can send their artwork a number of ways:
1. Send your original artwork to Greetway or your local representative. or to

If you need your original artwork back, please let us know, we can send it back after we've scanned and published it.
OR
2. E-mail us to submissions@greetway.com with a scanned image and text (in case of stories, just text). All images should be of 300dpi. For children under age 13, all entries should come from their parents, with their written consent.
All entries should have the following information to be selected for publishing:
- Parent's name, address, e-mail and contact phone number
- Artist's name, age, grade, gender, school, school city, state and country. If you don't want this information to be printed you cn omit this information you're your submission.
- Art work title
- Medium (chalk, oil paint, pencil, etc.), type of work
- Inspiration
- Any special notes
